Arriva's 2013-15 Orders - SL64 JFK - 13/11/2013 11:40
Hello again all.
By my reckoning, Arriva have had the following delivered since September, on top of everything else delivered since the start of the year:
8x VDL DB300s (Wright Gemini 2) for London
13x Volvo B7RLE (Wright Eclipse) for The Shires
12x VDL SB200 (Wright Pulsar 2) for Arriva North East
at least 1x VDL SB200 (Wright Pulsar 2) for the Midlands
Plus there's the rumoured 150 vehicle order for the North West (as mentioned in Route One Magazine) to be delivered over the course of the next 18 months, part of which will consist of the eight new double deckers for Southport and the six remaining Pulsars for Green Lane.
Does anyone know what else will be in the order for the North West, and what else is coming for the rest of the Arriva empire over the course of the year? I'm finding Arriva order announcements hard to find these days.
I wonder if anything will arrive before the end of the year, or will all of the new buses from now on arrive in the new year, therefore meeting Euro 6 standards?

No Volvo B5LH have been delivered to Arriva London since September.
One has been seen in the past few days at Heysham which is HV106 which was a replacement/rebuild of the fire victim.
Other than that 21 further B5LH's are due for Arriva London before the end of the year ... HV132-152 ... the first ones due for Arriva London South

I've heard that Derby are due some Sapphire ADL 400s for their 38 route.

Derby have started to receive some Pulsars, complete with leather seats. 3770-5 (FL63 DXA/B/C/D/E/F) are known so far.

I do not think these are for Derby. Burton and Leicester Thurmaston ( Coalville ) are reported on the WM Forum to be receiving 3770-8 for the 9 ( Burton - Leicester ) with further Pulsars up to 3798 for Cannock, Oswestry and Telford. The Oswestry ones are for the 2/2A/2C group of routes to Wrexham.

Are the Oswestry examples going to have leather seating? And does anybody know when they'll start being delivered? Can't be long now.
