RE: Halton Transport - K853 MTJ - 10/07/2012 18:09 It seems Halton have started rolling out a slightly revised uniform. Only seen it on my last driver today (Bus 5 on 14). White shirt, Halton logo on the left breast pocket as before, with black Epaulettes with HBT written in bold red letters. Looks smart IMO! RE: Halton Transport - motormayhem - 10/07/2012 18:33 so they basically look like the old arriva. Ex arriva manager with ex arriva uniform look. RE: Halton Transport - Valandil - 11/07/2012 15:01 Credit to SF07 for all of the VOSA amendments from Halton; I really recommend taking a look at them! I imagine that the cancellation of the 17a and establishment of the 17 is simply a renumbering -- in which case, good move! Are the route and timetable amendments to the 62/63 in addition to the earlier mentioned increase in frequency to Warrington, which I thought had already come through on VOSA? I have long wondered whether Halton might consider competing with the 110 and make it a full Warrington-Halton circular, but I doubt that's it ![]() RE: Halton Transport - Raawwwrrr! - 11/07/2012 17:43 More buses to Cronton and Kingsway colleges in the form of 47 and 48 (Unmentioned by the college itself today) ![]() And I have my 44 still despite the fresh air it carries! RE: Halton Transport - Valandil - 11/07/2012 18:00 Who'd have thought there would be a service 47 through Warrington again so soon after the 47 to Knutsford popped its clogs ![]() RE: Halton Transport - JimmyMac - 12/07/2012 10:37 (11/07/2012 18:00)Valandil Wrote: Who'd have thought there would be a service 47 through Warrington again so soon after the 47 to Knutsford popped its clogs 47 hasn't popped its clogs yet - still operates TuF service to Holmes Chapel. A lot of alterations have come through for Halton yesterday, notably the following: PC0001376/2 - HALTON BOROUGH TRANSPORT LTD T/A HALTON TRANSPORT, MOOR LANE, WIDNES, WA8 7AF Variation Accepted: Operating between Weates Close, Barneston Road and Warrington, Bus Station given service number 62/63 effective from 03-Sep-2012. To amend Route and Timetable. PC0001376/3 - HALTON BOROUGH TRANSPORT LTD T/A HALTON TRANSPORT, MOOR LANE, WIDNES, WA8 7AF Variation Accepted: Operating between Liverpool One Bus Station and Runcorn, Murdishaw given service number 61 effective from 03-Sep-2012. To amend Route and Timetable. PC0001376/123 - HALTON BOROUGH TRANSPORT LTD T/A HALTON TRANSPORT, MOOR LANE, WIDNES, WA8 7AF Variation Accepted: Operating between Widnes Road and Liverpool, Lord Street/Queen Square given service number 14/14A effective from 03-Sep-2012. To amend Timetable. PC0001376/124 - HALTON BOROUGH TRANSPORT LTD T/A HALTON TRANSPORT, MOOR LANE, WIDNES, WA8 7AF Variation Accepted: Operating between Widnes Road and Hale Bank given service number 2/2A effective from 03-Sep-2012. To amend Timetable. Now the 2 and 14 you may remember has already been amended to have certain journies to serve The Hive along with Tesco, these amendments this time around are timetable only. The 61 and 62 however have had route and timetable amended. My theory would be that both of these routes have been amended to have certain journies serve The Hive or have certain or all journies serve their normal route via Tesco. The amendments to the 2 and 14 may be just taking away certain journies from The Hive or Tesco so that the bus stops there do not get over crowded with buses if my theory proves correct. Just my guess though! I struggle to see what other amendments can be made to the route in Widnes Town Centre. RE: Halton Transport - Raawwwrrr! - 12/07/2012 19:11 The 14/14A/61 is probably a way to get buses off the routes and onto school buses as the Traffic Commisioner would need to be aware of the interworked PVR increase. Either that or everythings been changed at the same time for the Schools/colleges going back!
