RE: Arriva North West - Winsford Depot - 33109 - 05/03/2015 08:00 Yh that's odd seeming as we've still got the xtra geminis on loan. Plus atm macc have got 4101 on loan but a centro might be handy on couple of routes particularly the bollington service which can get rly packed out. Also anyone else noticed that 2501/2502 & 03/2500 seem to look fairly scruffy nowadays mainly the interiors look very tired as these 4 never had the seating re-trimmed. RE: Arriva North West - Winsford Depot - 33109 - 06/03/2015 10:55 Pity macc can't have a centre or cadet permanently, coz if a gem fails on the #38 duty it's a solo. Only prob is a solo gets totally wedged working a crewe service, therefore it'd be v handy to have a larger vehicle on hand. RE: Arriva North West - Winsford Depot - Jack - 07/03/2015 17:08 What is the complete permanent Macc allocation? Think Geminis are 4436, 4444 & 4459, which are standing in for 4489, 4490 & 4491 (away for Saphire conversion) Solos are 701-4 & 706-9. 709 was winsfords but seems to have been replaced there by 705 of late, don't know if thats a permanent change though. Oly RE: Arriva North West - Winsford Depot - Jack - 07/03/2015 23:21 Cheers mate. RE: Arriva North West - Winsford Depot - SLTRegular - 20/03/2015 19:24 There was a Low Height Gemini monstrosity on the M62 East around 5:40 was being towed towards Manchester/Salford RE: Arriva North West - Winsford Depot - SNL 824 - 21/03/2015 15:15 (20/03/2015 19:24)SLTRegular Wrote: There was a Low Height Gemini monstrosity on the M62 East around 5:40 was being towed towards Manchester/Salford Well there's no need to sit on the fence regarding your views on LH Gems! RE: Arriva North West - Winsford Depot - motormayhem1 - 01/04/2015 11:00 Had a quick look at the sapphire geminis 4489/90/91 and noticed they haven't been done to the same spec as the other welsh depots sapphire buses. The upstairs have retained the normal seats just recovered with the e-leather. RE: Arriva North West - Winsford Depot - CX54 DKD - 01/04/2015 11:55 The same spec as Sapphire in the rest of the country then. The Welsh division (or was it Welsh govt.?) do allocate additional funds for the higher specification top deck. Don't forget the coach seating reduces the overall capacity though so for a route which already necessitated the full capacity of a decker, the use of coach seats, and a reduction of capacity, doesn't particularly bode well to customers. |
