I had a pleasant shock today as I got to bash dart again!
Very unusual beaut was cadet 2801. A cadet but with urban 90 seats & dart engine. Flew along on the llangollen route today & climbs hills better than owt modern.

They're not Darts though they're DAF SB120 actually built to compete against the Dart back in the days although yes Cummins 6BT and Allison AT545 same combination as older Darts

For a pleasant change today 1 of the alx enviro 200s was working the 26 to mold. Really properly smart buses although a driver did say pulling out into busy traffic can be a headache.
Apparently due to their being a delay from the electronic transmission. Still loved the ride though & I've had an optare versa too lately IIRC 999, also smart buses. Liked the wood effect vinyl flooring & the black leather seating, also weirdly I like the design of the Wi-Fi vinyls.

Rode on 2801 and 2803 a few weeks ago, I echo the above sentiments. Excellent vehicles, couldnt faukt them, very tidy, quick, and made all the right noises, will be a shame when they depart.

On Thursday Versa.s 998/9 and an Enviro200 were noted on the 1 in Chester.

999 was on there today and broke down at the railway station in Chester
