4064 was today's 41 bus!
4102 and 4104 were both on the 43/46 with 4090 and 4097.

DAF DB250/ALX400 4097 replaced failed Volvo B10B/Wright Renown 2723 on the 300 today, a very rare working. Unfortunately it broke down in Maghull on the return trip.

4090 was on the 41. 4095 was on the 43/46 with 4104.
I'm glad that a Marshall has been preserved. This is fitting as this was one of the final batch of new buses for MTL. And it is from an ex-MTL garage at that! I wonder whether Southport is the final garage to operate regular Marshalls now?

Oh not another one, they aren't having much luck at this depot over the last year or two are they. Hope everybody involved is OK.

Driver and passengers are ok, with only slight injuries. The bus is slightly more seriously injured and, in my opinion (which Mrs DEM will happily tell you counts for nothing!), will not be repaired.

Is there a particular accident blackspot in the area , like where a road narrows considerably or something similar.
