I've noticed that recently, 998 or 999 has been allocated to service 35. Good idea as this route can get quite busy at times and the Enviro 200's are a bit small

More timetable and route changes coming up in Wrexhan from June 17th. Routes affected are 3, 4, 4A, 5, 5C, 5E, 32, 33, 35, 41, 41A

It will be interesting to see the changes given 5 of these routes are Ex D Jones. I wonder if the 5s will go up. Obviously GHA and D Jones ran every 20 mins then Arriva dropped due to lack of passengers, now with no competition, is there enough passengers to increase the frequency again?

I thought it should have gone up to every 20/30 mins asap after the demise of D Jones, but in all honesty even now they’re rarely busy, school buses apart. The majority of the route is covered by Oswestry depots 2’s which have seen a big increase in loading on the Wrexham - Ruabon section. The Acrefair - Llangollen section itself doesn’t really justify much more of a service than it gets now, unless it starts taking a chunk of passengers back off the 2’s.
