The driver identified the problem and after a reset the train proceeded in non tile mode to Euston. Afurther stop was made at Rugby to allow two faster trains to pass. Arrival was approx 27 minutes late.I presume you mean Milford & Brocton? ; That's nothing compared to the 08.00 Euston-Manchester last Wednesday which failed south of Wembley Central and was eventually cleared to Wembley via Bletchley at 15.31! RE: Virgin Trains - childwallblues - 14/06/2017 18:16 Spot on Mike. It comments that the Grand Central rights are exprcted to expire as they haven't ordered any trains. This would tie-in with the start of electric trains to Blackpool North, currently due in May 2018. RE: Virgin Trains - knutstransport - 22/06/2017 10:58 The next West Coast franchise will be run by one of an Anglo French consortium (Stagecoach, Virgin and SNCF), an Anglo Italian consortium (First and TrenItalia) or a consortium of American, Swedish, Japanese, Hong Kong and British companies led by MTR: https://www.gov.uk/government/news/bidders-for-2-rail-franchises-named-by-government RE: Virgin Trains - wirralbus - 22/06/2017 18:05 These days it just seems like put all the names in a bowl and its a lucky dip to find the winner. RE: Virgin Trains - boby32 - 25/09/2017 17:36 Video of 390010 in new livery. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DURgSe1LlFY RE: Virgin Trains - St Helens Rider - 25/09/2017 18:13 Very similar to livery used on East Coast. Looks like an attempt to have one livery for both East and West Coast operations. RE: Virgin Trains - markydh - 25/09/2017 22:32 It isn’t. The DfT instructed Virgin to have a relatively neutral livery pending the new franchise award. They didn’t event want them to have Virgin branding but the swoosh was a compromise. RE: Virgin Trains - childwallblues - 13/10/2017 06:05 The second Pendolino in the new livery is 390006 which was on the 0744 LPY-EUS yesterday. RE: Virgin Trains - childwallblues - 02/11/2017 06:23 The third Pendolino to emerge from Widnes in the new livery is 390009. |
