No real need for change with the former Halton 61 returning to original route the two don't stop in the same place and only cross briefly at Queen's Drive. The Aigburth 61 is also now 61A for part of the day during the week.

Until you tell someone unfamiliar with the city to jump on a 61.

On the subject of Halton the was an old Widnes Corporation decker, a Halton national and a "modern" Halton dart by morrisons today. Not sure what the event was.

The three buses were around Widnes as they were having a Halton transport farewell day.

Been told today evan with Halton as going into liquidation the public enquiry will still take and company and directors ect will still have to attend it.

And they could still be disqualified from holding a directorship and have there CPC suspended

To be honest if disqualification was to happen itwouldn't make much difference as they dont intend to start up again

It would make a difference. They'd be disqualified from directorship of any company

Of coarse but they probably would get other jobs within halton council unrelated to managing transport as they wont be applying for another operating licence

The people in question where employed to run Bus Operations and will be on the search for other jobs like that

Of course but would you employ someone to manage your bus company from which they wont have a good cv
