RE: D&G Bus - knutstransport - 09/03/2026 17:53 If the tracking is to be believed 5022 is on 42 journeys operated by the Macc depot, but 41 is still showing as being out in use. That said I think 107 is currently tracking as 504. And if the Crewe depot tracking is to be believed there's a few unusual allocations out today - a Solo on the 31/37, an Evora on the 48, neither 84X branded vehicle on the 84X, and a short 57 reg Enviro out on the 85. RE: D&G Bus - knutstransport - 14/03/2026 14:47 Some unexpected changes for D&G services showing from April. - all 87 journeys be routed via a consistent route - A50 - Over Peover - Chelford, no longer serving Bexton Lane or Ollerton. - 89 Northwich to Pickmere journeys withdrawn, despite Knutsford journeys still not being routed via Pickmere - Two route 86 journeys per day (Mon-Fri) - running a loop from Knutsford bus station that includes Bexton Lane, Over Peover and Ollerton. From the timings it looks like on weekdays the 188, 89, N1 and 86 can all be operated by the same vehicle. It does have to be questioned what's the point of the 89 subsidy from Cheshire East, given the train serves Knutsford, Lostock Gralam and Northwich, while the Warrington service duplicates the 89 at the Northwich end? While it runs along Northwich Road, and apparently should stop at Tabley House on request, it would seem more logic to spend Cheshire East money on more frequent services within the Knutsford area, than supporting a bus out to Northwich and back if it's skipping Tabley and Pickmere. Saying that, I also don't think the 89 should disappear and then not be reinstated when they finally sort out the bridges in Pickmere. |
