Yes, 3963 will be the 'back-up' to 6043-8.

Indeed that and possibly 3962 too are remaining at Gateshead as backup for X9/X10.

Even rarer sighting today on nexus service 353 a loop branded solar (orange loops) very rare and seems gne can't keep up with their nexus services although I did see a green debranded mpd on the gne tow truck! The fleet number for the loop bus was 5221
