Odd working of the day has to go to the DAF President that worked 17:45 247 Trafford Centre-Altrincham service tonight and what a decent bus it was, quite quick on parts of the route as well, just shows that now the service doesn't go to Eccles anymore during the day that deckers can be used on occasion

Good luck finding them Metroline. Have to say though, I spent the weekend in Manchester back in early October and didn't see a DLP on the 16 or 263 then.

They're becoming quite common on the 16 on a daily basis now, although I've yet to sample one as of yet.

Its pot luck really getting a president on the 16s, you've just gotta hang around at picc gardens or alty & hope 1 shows up. As an aside point the contractors seem to be making fairly speedy progress on the new bus interchange, lets hope its not much longer as the bus stops atm are bloody freezing!!!

Can anyone advise if 2253 is still at Wythenshawe please? The rest of the batch (2238-56) that were new to Manchester have all moved to various Merseyside depots but this is the only one I have not heard of moving.

Not sure what happened to one of the DLPs this afternoon, but as I was going along Stretford Road on a 263 to Manchester at around 5.30pm, there was a DLP on the 263 heading in the opposite direction with passengers being led off the bus from the fire exit at the back of the bus by the driver who was stood outside. Didn't see which one it was, as only spotted the incident at the last minute.

I have been doing a service review today, and came across 2 Presidents working on the 16 these been the 08.55 and 09.25,11.25 plus the 11.55 workings from Altrincham,
Also I passed 1 working on 19 around 11.30 heading out of Altrincham on returning to Runcorn there was also 1 parked in the depot (sorry don't do numbers)
