Think I know where you mean on the left hand side. I also spotted two of the darts one of which was Y186 CFS. Both was in the livery from the link below but the other one (unknown reg) had a red panel that said 'Go Travel' in white rather than JMB Travel. https://flic.kr/p/oP4uC6 I'll upload a few pictures on flickr later RE: PLATT BRIDGE (scrap storage) - RedPanda - 03/05/2016 20:09 Platt Bridge album https://www.flickr.com/photos/137286913@N05/albums/72157667922163305 I'm unsure of the registration of the red Merc but it looks like PLZ 5598 RE: PLATT BRIDGE (scrap storage) - YN05 WKE - 03/05/2016 20:27 (03/05/2016 20:09)RedPanda Wrote: Platt Bridge album I know you did not get a pic but what is the registration of the Leyland Olympian RE: PLATT BRIDGE (scrap storage) - RedPanda - 04/05/2016 05:36 (03/05/2016 20:27)E208 WBG Wrote: I know you did not get a pic but what is the registration of the Leyland Olympian No sorry but I'm in Blackburn today, I'll try and have a look later on my way home RE: PLATT BRIDGE (scrap storage) - RedPanda - 04/05/2016 20:25 I think most of the buses they have are from Scotland, did a search of several of them at random and they come up as Glasgow or Dumfries Today's pictures from the yard https://www.flickr.com/photos/137286913@N05/albums/72157665575354194 motormayhem's Pilkington Bus - Leyland Olympian G301 UYM https://www.flickr.com/photos/137286913@N05/26724642392/in/album-72157665575354194/ https://www.flickr.com/photos/137286913@N05/26724626212/in/album-72157665575354194/ Edit:also saw a white Dennis Dart R330 XYG and the red Merc is PLZ 5590 and not PLZ 5598 RE: PLATT BRIDGE (scrap storage) - ANW 2283 - 29/05/2016 12:56 Ow do all, We were traveling on a #658 from Leigh to Wigan and we noticed a cream & maroon Volvo double decker across the gate.. Any ideas of the reg? Also are Blakeleys starting a new yard in Bickershaw? There was an Ex Arriva London DLA on the South side of the B5237... Reg for this one would be helpful too... Thanks in advance RE: PLATT BRIDGE (scrap storage) - RedPanda - 29/05/2016 13:07 (29/05/2016 12:56)ANW 2283 Wrote: Ow do all, Pretty sure that is Blakeleys in Bickershaw although I think it's a recycleing centre and not a scrap yard. Your Volvo double decker is an ex Pilkington Bus and pictures are on #18 of this thread under motormayhem's pilkington bus. As for the DLA I don't know but I'll have a ride up Tomorrow or Tuesday. |
