RE: Stagecoach - Preston and Chorley Depots - SandyDrew - 19/09/2015 20:21 The golden oldies using that service are cute enough to know which bus they need. (Most of them will probably even remember them being red anyway). Anyway, as soon as it stops and the doors open you know it's stagecoach with the bright blue cab area! (As opposed to the arriva green layout) It's a little insulting to suggest regular customers would be confused by the colour of the vehicle - if it says X2 and the destination on the front and the time they know it is due - they'll flag it down! The frequency is only every 30 minutes, you're hardly going to let is pass and wait 30 mins for the next one. Pensioners especially, are more public transport savvy than they're given credit for - especially since they got their free passes. RE: Stagecoach - Preston and Chorley Depots - gka472l - 23/09/2015 11:57 In use from Chorley at the moment (was on the 125 but the blinds haven't shown on the photo), 34741 which has recently been in use from Rock Ferry, and still carrying branding for the X22, seen here departing Preston https://www.flickr.com/photos/dmc1947/21648906025/in/dateposted/ HTH RE: Stagecoach - Preston and Chorley Depots - mbonwick - 23/09/2015 16:09 Transferred to Preston on P5 fleetcard. RE: Stagecoach - Preston and Chorley Depots - pete tierney - 02/10/2015 14:22 Noted at ADL Falkirk yesterday, (Oct 1st), was Gold double decker YN65XEG, which I think may be 15230. Branded for the 125 it looked ready for delivery. Anyway, managed to track down a photo... https://www.flickr.com/photos/45168281@N05/21828802081/ (Photo Credit; MOD571P) There are some interesting photos of on-delivery buses on this site, including some of the Enviro400MMCs destined for Wigan. RE: Stagecoach - Preston and Chorley Depots - SandyDrew - 17/10/2015 16:12 There is a Gold Enviro400 in service on the 125 this afternoon. Perhaps related to the event at Chorley later? RE: Stagecoach - Preston and Chorley Depots - MPTE1955 - 26/10/2015 12:15 Enviro 300 on X2 right now, might have been 27114 but not 100% certain. Seen it Liverpool bound at Bootle at about 11.45 RE: Stagecoach - Preston and Chorley Depots - T42 PVM - 27/10/2015 00:54 (26/10/2015 12:15)MPTE1955 Wrote: Enviro 300 on X2 right now, might have been 27114 but not 100% certain.
