With First having more depots on the line of the route it would always make more sense to give them a bigger proportion of the service , Arriva always seemed to have buses giving up at the wrong end of the network for them . RE: Arriva North West - Birkenhead Depot - SNL 824 - 27/06/2012 21:55 It looks to me as if the daytime 72/472 Pensby Rd corridor daytime service is reducing from 6 buses to 3 per hour. That's turning the clock back to pre-dereg Crosville days. This makes sense for Arriva and First, but lousy for the passengers. But when this service 472 was introduced it was not so much a complimentary service to the 72 as much as two buses following each other minutes apart chasing the very same customer , so wasnt really 6 buses, but 3 buses with one chasing the other to arrowe park gates then it was a free for all from there . RE: Arriva North West - Birkenhead Depot - Palatine II - 28/06/2012 14:16 2455 on 409? I think it is, as I saw it going out on a bus exchange before. A Cadet has just passed me with 409 on the dest, going to Laird St. RE: Arriva North West - Birkenhead Depot - gka472l - 28/06/2012 18:33 Not sure if it has been reported but 2425 was seen in service today by myself in Birkenhead, 2424 also out & 2458 was on the 492! HTH RE: Arriva North West - Birkenhead Depot - busdude - 30/06/2012 11:18 Do the DLA's and VLW's comply with the QBP? RE: Arriva North West - Birkenhead Depot - CX54 DKD - 30/06/2012 13:07 No, they would breach emissions standards RE: Arriva North West - Birkenhead Depot - P450 SWX - 30/06/2012 13:32 Well if the VLW don't comply how do the ones first are getting comply as there also Volvo B7TL Wright Gemini's RE: Arriva North West - Birkenhead Depot - CX06 EBK - 30/06/2012 13:42 Because the First ones are newer so I assume to a later Euro standard. RE: Arriva North West - Birkenhead Depot - Palatine II - 30/06/2012 13:53 I've been told by managment (the boss of LS), there is no 'standard', anybus can go on QPB. Liverpool got a grant for their new buses. |
