The only solution to that is we negotiate with arriva but I know It would be a waste of time because they won't talk to us explain busman what we are doing different from Avon and arriva over the 492 495 1.10 with Avon and a commercial fare with arriva I understand it can be confusing for the passenger regards to fares the only answer is price fixing between operators which is illegal

Busmans Buses it can be even more confusing if said route has two bus services with different numbers operating along the same route to the same destination.

I dont know whether it was a good idea of Merseytravel to move to the same route number for the Merseytravel equivalent of commercial services , in the end Merseytravel was using numbers outside of the 100 to 250 number range that they first started using in 1986 at the start of deregulation.

Managed to photograph and ride on it today:

It was a lovely, high-specification bus! Its leather seats were comfortable, the bus was warm and it was generally a nice vehicle to be on! Passengers were intrigued. There were posters up around the bus asking passengers to tell Impera about what they think of the new bus, which will be around for a short while. Hope this demonstration proves to be successful and leads to an order, although the likelihood of an order taking place for such high-spec buses isn't huge!

Here it is:

Basically, the PVR is reduced from four to three - all journeys don't serve Town Meadow Lane which contributes to the lower journey time and lower PVR. Consequently, times are changed. 39C is renumbered X39.
