With the changes due in April, I thought up a trip with 8 Arriva buses in Manchester and Trafford for early April using an Arriva Manchester Daysaver. I would have caught route 130 from East Didsbury to Manchester, 73 to Swinton, 79 to Stretford, 263 to Manchester, 10 to Eccles, 293 to Eccles via Trafford Park, 247 to Altrincham then 370 to Heaton Mersey. However, I know I must have missed this at the time, but I saw on the Arrivabus website that route 247 no longer runs north of Trafford Centre to Eccles. This in addition to Arriva withdrawing route 245 between Trafford Centre and Exchange Quay. So, I shall knock this idea on the head and ride selected routes now, possibly route 79 next weekend, or with different operators later.

Yes it is. 3049 and 3050 are also on loan at Wythenshawe

Hot exclusive news is that routes 130, 263 and X1 in our area are to be upgraded to Sapphire later this year!
