I have driven DK04 SUH once however so it is ticked off my list! I have taken Dart MPDs and Enviro200s on that route on lates but it is a fair bit tighter than in a narrow/short Solo - Also with driving Solos a lot more than the Darts you do get used to the steering so you have to be extra careful the first 10 mins or so driving a Dart getting used to the steering set up with the wheels being behind the driver! Darts and Solos are both nice to drive though but if it is cold, the Solos have better heaters too! RE: HTL Buses - 507022 - 22/04/2013 21:24 I've heard that the bus on the 245/6/7 routes was involved in a collision today. Apparently, a ladder overhanging from the roof of a van went through the windscreen! RE: HTL Buses - buses7675 - 23/04/2013 17:58 Usual bus YJ12 PNN was on the Huyton Circulars (146/245/246/247) today with the usual driver and he didn't mention anything (and no evidence of any collision on the bus) so I think if there was any problem it wasn't as severe as thought! RE: HTL Buses - buses7675 - 01/05/2013 20:56 W603 PTO made it into town today on the newly extended route 173 (Belle Vale - Sefton Park/Liverpool Great Charlotte Street), seen parked in the wrong stop, only as it was easier for a photo and was after the last service into town! ![]() HTL Buses W603 PTO by buses7675!, on Flickr and as noted in the bus fares thread, here is the proper poster for the Merseytravel fare increase, seen in BF62 JZW earlier in the week! ![]() HTL Buses BF62 JZW by buses7675!, on Flickr RE: HTL Buses - wirralbus - 01/05/2013 21:06 Nice to see proper Merseytravel posters , a general comment on the Get onboard Free week wonder what the criteria was for the routes chosen. RE: HTL Buses - buses7675 - 15/05/2013 13:17 Hi All, Currently at HTL Buses depot is ex London United DPS 601 Dennis Dart SLF 10.1M/Plaxton Pointer 2 SN51 TDU which is being stripped for spares. Attached are some photos of it as it arrived, kindly taken by HTL's management who have allowed me to use them online! It is already being stripped for spares now so I wouldn't have been able to get photos myself in the condition it arrived!
