I believe the vehicle is DDA compliant, and was quite cheap. Quote from the boss: "It's a new toy we can play around with..." Fairly sure one of the vehicles that went through Thornton Bros, Ashington for DDA mods. There is also one normally on Treborth Road RE: Aintree Coachline / Helms of Eastham - mikestone - 12/10/2016 12:24 School bus drivers live nearby perhaps? RE: Aintree Coachline / Helms of Eastham - iMarkeh - 12/10/2016 16:17 Unknown. There are always sat there though. They do seem to go by 3pm. I see them around midday. Surely buses should be returned to depot between duties. Same as sometime parked at Stadium Way for lunch time very rare. There is also one normally on Treborth Road It's a driver who lives nearby. Whenever he is on split duties (2 hours and above break) he takes the bus home, with the managers consent, and parks it. Might as well, It's both closer to Chester City Centre than the depot so saves fuel, and avoids gridlock with buses parking on the stands at Chester Railway Station for long periods of time. Helms drivers also have the option of parking the bus inside the Stagecoach Chester garage on Liverpool Road, following a recent agreement. RE: Aintree Coachline / Helms of Eastham - DK09 GXY - 20/10/2016 21:32 I've read on Facebook that Aintree Coachline have an exGHA Solo SR, YJ15 AYH. Can anyone confirm or deny this? I believe it is still on sale at EnsignBus, however is being stored at Helms as the work isn't yet finished on it.
