Going a bit off topic but in Recent Elections in Liverpool Labour has started to lose Ground to the Lib Dems and to a lesser degree The Green Party so would not rule out a change in a few years time. How that would affect planning permission in Liverpool however remains to be seen RE: Liverpool City Centre bus re-routing proposals - mr t - 25/06/2019 21:16 The deadline is Jan 2020 because that whole ccms allocated funding runs out on set dates off each phase hence them already starting on the bus hub and Victoria street with no consultation yet . Sadly the consultation is merely a tick box exercise barely anything will change RE: Liverpool City Centre bus re-routing proposals - Barney - 25/06/2019 21:36 (25/06/2019 21:16)mr t Wrote: The deadline is Jan 2020 because that whole ccms allocated funding runs out on set dates off each phase hence them already starting on the bus hub and Victoria street with no consultation yet . In which case, as it would no longer be an actual circular, it could use say the number 26 in both directions. According to Merseytravel's website, the 26/27 is unaffected by the proposed changes RE: Liverpool City Centre bus re-routing proposals - motormayhem1 - 29/06/2019 14:56 (29/06/2019 11:40)Walton 46 Wrote: According to Merseytravel's website, the 26/27 is unaffected by the proposed changes There zero emission so don't need to be changed. That's the issue. It isn't just a low emission bus zone, they want a zero bus zone (that is the aim from what it looks like. It's just cross rivers and other services will be done later on if they get away with this first phase.
