This to probably due to the incident involving the Avon dart with the motorcyclist yesterday where the motorcyclist sadly died. Thoughts and sympathies of course with the family of the motorcyclist, report is in the echo.

KU52 YLE (452) failed today on Spital road in Bromborough operating a 40A service towards Mill Park. W124 XMA (124) was sent to replace.

124 aint the best replacement really tbh its never been A good bus even when A1A had her as 57 (W11 JBA) it seemed to always be off the road
Is 452 the one that has the Primo's Gearbox and Engine?

I think it was only the engine that the Primo gave to 452.

Hi Do we know if the changes to alter the 17 & 17A to incorporate a loop creating a 16 /16A serving Manor Road in Upton, have been a success or will Avon re-consider and revert back to just the 17 / 17a?

With upcoming changes to the 181 service , it must be classed as doing alright , i think Merseytravel where just seeing how the route 16 and 17 was going before they did any possible changes .

Was told yesterday that Avon have won the contract for the 135 Bootle-Aintree circular off Cumfybus. Not entirely sure whos got the 133 but heard it could be HTL.

I am pleased for Avon. After them pulling their 40 / 40A and 80 with competition from Stagecoach. They probably need more tendered work.
