Lets just say that they shouldnt still have ACE legals on them. Being operated under a different name

I suppose given the situation it's understandable that legals have been overlooked.

Do we know who's legals should be on there then?

S310 and S311 SHB have been bought by GHA, not sure if anymore will be on the way to North Wales as well!!

The Ace Travel operating licence is still shown as valid on the VOSA site. Presumably the person or persons responsible for the liquidation process may permit some activities to continue if there is a good prospect of selling these - they usually have a duty to obtain the maximum amount of money for creditors.

Was Ace operating the City Sightseeing service as a franchise ?

If so this may just be to provide continuity until another operator can be found to take on the franchise .

Does make the situation interesting in Liverpool though.

Yes - they were operating it as a franchise
