RE: Stagecoach North East - kuyoyo - 26/09/2012 18:08 A nightmare of a day with diversions on most Stockton area routes, and extra dupilcate workings on the 36. Other hightlights included: 16837 on one such 36 duplicate workings, intially to Park End but was cut back to terminate at Middlesbrough Bus Station due to it being required for Macmillans 24105 was used as a change-over on the 13 After being 35 minutes late on the 0847 37 from North Tees Hospital, 37-branded 22062 operated a 38 3 more B10BLE to have moved to Stockton for storage are 21136/9/46 (R236/9/46 KRG). There are a few others already in Flowers Storage Shed in addition to the previously reported 21102/47. RE: Stagecoach North East - tyresmoke - 26/09/2012 20:06 Diversion on service 59 may well become "temporarily permanent" - the official Stagecoach site seems to suggest that Browns Bridge has indeed been washed away in the floods. Therefore I reckon it could be a good few months before its back on normal route. RE: Stagecoach North East - N391OTY - 26/09/2012 22:30 Busways 19161 working on the X47 service this evening. Don't think deckers are a common sight on this route, but expecting to be corrected! Therefore I reckon it could be a good few months before its back on normal route. Indeed, from what I heard from a resident from that area, the bridge has gone so the 59s will most likely be diverted (most likely some other way that via Oxbridge Road, Grangfield and Grays Road). RE: Stagecoach North East - kuyoyo - 27/09/2012 10:25 More details on the Browns Bridge flood, the bridge itself hasn't been washed away, but the foundations have been, leaving the bridge in danger of collapse. Until the water goes down, we won't know exactly how long the 59 will be diverted for. Had confirmation - all Teesside services are now back on normal route as of tonight with the reopening of Browns Bridge. Just a stroke of luck it happened before the work on Stockton High Street South End begins on Monday. RE: Stagecoach North East - kuyoyo - 29/09/2012 17:25 A total of 7 of the 10 Olympians out on local work today: 16831-3 all on 12/14/34 16835 on 52/58 as replacement for 22195 after that threw its belts (22195 later replaced 22469 on the 13 after one of the windows broke, and then almost got replaced at the depot after its nearside wing-mirror was broken by a strong blast of wind coming along Newport Road) 16838 was on 12/34 16839/40 were on 11 16834/6/7 appear to have been used on the Sunderland AFC Park & Ride services, none of the 3 were parked in the depot when I was sat outside on 22195 at 1250 21136 is the latest B10BLE to have arrived at Stockton for storage. 21137 is said to be here, already stored in Flowers. The reason for the wing-mirror being changed rather than 22195 being taken off was presumably due to the lack of serviceable vehicles in the yard, the only one there being 22471 (22668 had just left the yard prior to 22195 getting there). |
