As I don't like Bakerbus much I look forward to High Peak taking over the 392 and 393 routes.
I hope High Peak issue Day Return tickets from Stockport to Buxton that are valid on route 199 and TransPeak.

No surprise to find out that the 394 Saturday service, which will be funded from 11 February, will continue to be operated by High Peak. This was after High Peak planned to withdraw its commercial Saturday service.

Details of the 392/393 timetable, that High Peak will be taking over from 3 March. Most 393 journeys will be withdrawn and replaced by the 392, which will run a standard hourly service. The 393 will be reduced to one weekday morning journey to Macclesfield and one morning & afternoon journey to Stockport.

After its winter sabbatical in Leicester, decker 904 has returned to Dove Holes in full transpeak livery for the summer season.

I presume so, last year it worked journeys that Trent Barton used to duplicate due to their reluctance to use double deckers.
Unless it's out today, it's not in service yet, the High Peak facebook page posted some pictures of it at their depot yesterday though.

Seeing as it is in TransPeak livery, I wonder whether they will soon convert the route to full double-decker operation? Even if High Peak don't want to buy new buses, they could buy some 10-12 year-old ex-London double-deckers and refurbish these.
