Any idea what the reg was?

Courtesy of aviation Herald: it was G-VIIO operating flight 2276 when the crew rejected takeoff on 07L approximately 2600ft down the runway, after the left engine caught fire during the takeoff roll.

The aircraft seems to have fire damage to left wing and fuselage. possible that it's a hull w/off. - It's 16 years old.

Looking at the damage I'd expect it be definite hull write off. Thanks!

British Airways are reintroducing a London Heathrow - Tehran service from July .

The service will operate six times a week , they are hoping when the winter timetable for 2016 comes out to go to daily operation.

A few days late with this. I was on #1396 LHR to MAN on Friday last week. Passengers in the first few rows got a real (albeit short) treat as it was operated by G-MEDG, one of the ex-bmi 321s with flat bed business class seats, instead of the booked 320. Really smart aircraft all round. Great CSM as well.

Economy Class passengers on short haul flights will no longer enjoy free snacks from next year.

BA will instead offer M&S selection food to pay for .

BA will still provide a full complimentary menu in Business Class.
