RE: HTL Buses - Raawwwrrr! - 18/06/2012 15:31 Anyone else noticed the 61' reg Optare Solo M710SE's are missing something? ![]() Interior grab "handles" over the buggy bay! RE: HTL Buses - buses7675 - 18/06/2012 16:25 No idea, can't see anything obviously missing! Legal lettering, weight etc seem to be on the ones I've seen! Of note on the 61/12 reg ones, the side marker lights are slightly lower down than the 11 reg ones, not that that answers your question but is a way to tell them apart from a distance! On another note I've managed to get a timetable for the Asda Hunts Cross Free Bus. As it isn't 'proper' route it isn't shown on the Merseytravel site so I've scanned it in in case anyone wants to try to work out when to see it! ![]() Asda Hunts Cross Free Bus - 20120416 - 1 by buses7675!, on Flickr RE: HTL Buses - V671 DVU - 01/07/2012 16:46 Does the Vario still run on the Asda free bus? Haven't seen that for a very long time! RE: HTL Buses - buses7675 - 01/07/2012 17:58 It does do most days (as far as I know) however the last time I noticed the Asda bus Dart L354 FPF was operating it. RE: HTL Buses - V671 DVU - 01/07/2012 18:00 Cheers Steve ![]() RE: HTL Buses - buses7675 - 01/07/2012 18:12 No problem, I always look out for it when I'm there but as it doesn't run weekends I didn't see it today! Just been trying to work out the actual route that service must take (I'll have to have a go on it one day) but going from that timetable it must be as follows: Out of Asda Car park, straight on along Hillfoot Avenue Right onto Woodend Avenue, Left onto Speke Boulevard, Right onto Penketh Road (The appraoch road to Morrisons!), Making a loop around Speke area as follows: Left at the roundabout on to Millwood Road, Right onto Eastern Avenue, Right onto Central Way, Left onto Ganworth Road/Central Parade/Conleach Road, Left onto Central Avenue, Right at the roundabout onto Western Avenue Returning to Asda via Woodend Avenue & Hillfoot Avenue. The purpose I assume of this route is so Asda can pinch potential customers of Morrisons as the junction of Penketh Road/Millwood Road is right outside Morrisons in Speke! |
