I know this has been asked a lot lately, but dare I ask have the fitters made any further progress with 4056?
Seems around a month now its been having work done for, also can anyone confirm has 4096 been scrapped yet or been stripped for spares?

Could tell you but I haven't seen my driver friend in a while, So I don't know anymore!
I think 4096 is now at St Helens, Either waiting scrap or being fixed, I don't see the point in repairing a bus that's going next year!

4096 as started getting parts removed from it and awaiting to be scrapped.

One of st helens VLW's are nearly ready as got told today that painting as started on it and shouldn't be that long before it goes on the road but when its complete il get some pics to show what the completed product will look like for the rest of them.

Last time I was at the depot 4056 was being stripped for spares as well, the staff told me that its had so much removed it will never run again.

Fair enuf then, thnk god the dlas are going. Aye they've got the job done but we've had soooo many pros with em regards reliability issues, are winsford DEFFO getting vlws or this just a maybe?
Plus what are the vlws like internally & like to ride on never tried 1 yet so curious.

4061 broken down in Nantwich today around 1130. Stuck in the outside lane at the Barony traffic lights waiting to turn right en route for Crewe. Absolute mayhem all over Nantwich. At 1230 a Bowers truck arrived presumably to tow 4061 away but I was not able to stay.
Winsford are having a bad run with their DLAs.
