15 years ago tonight I watched Cittay struggle to beat Macclesfield Town 2-0 at a decrepit Maine Road in League One.

Interesting what you can achieve in football with access to a bottomless pit of money, along with a new stadium thrown-in for free.

Chelsea left it late to beat Everton .

With all these top teams you have to play to the final whistle , how many times have they managed to scrape a result with the last kick of the game .

That lovely club have pulled a dirty trick on their fans by stating if they do not purchase
a ticket for the next home match in europe they will not be able to see the city derby game
talk about blackmail ! a disgrace

8 wins in a row, what an amazing turnaround by the Reds

Its been an amazing season at Anfield , dont think in anybody's dreams that Liverpool would still be in the mix for the title in April .

Think the destiny of the title now is firmly in the hands of Liverpool , Liverpool if they dont do it , will be giving helping hand to either Chelsea or Manchester City.

It's in both the hands of Liverpool and City, either win all their remaining games and it's theirs. Big big game on Sunday at Anfield!

These Easter Matches will decide Tranmere Rovers destiny this season .

There has been so much going at Tranmere Rovers . A manager sacked for betting on matches , the possibility of new owners in the future as well , that everybody has forgotten that they just a couple of points away from the drop zone into the bottom draw of the Football league.

Great news today as Southport have sealed their Conference status for another season after beating Halifax 2-1 at Haig Avenue today. This is a good example of how replacing a manager mid-season can work. Our season gradually turned on its head when we appointed John Coleman, and I doubt we'd have stayed up without a change.

I notice how you dont give any credence to the sponsor's of the ground at Haig Avenue.

Congrats to Burnley on sealing their promotion today too. Be nice to see them and Leicester back in the Premiership next year. As for the play-offs, anyone but QPR please!
