Link here: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2221365/Supercar-driver-dies-head-crash-75-000-Audi-R8-bus-Newcastle.html I can roughly make out '1440', but 1440 is a Middlesbrough bus, isn't it? Yes, 1440 is a Redcar vehicle. It's also one of the older examples, this one is a 2011 example due to the rear design. RE: Arriva North East - dans_bus_photos - 22/10/2012 20:31 Looks like either 1496 or 1498 RE: Arriva North East - Stevoj3026 - 23/10/2012 21:03 (22/10/2012 20:31)dans_bus_photos Wrote: Looks like either 1496 or 1498 It is 1498 RE: Arriva North East - kuyoyo - 24/10/2012 12:20 (23/10/2012 21:03)Stevoj3026 Wrote:(22/10/2012 20:31)dans_bus_photos Wrote: Looks like either 1496 or 1498 So, flooded out and now front-end smash. The Unlucky Pulsar. RE: Arriva North East - tom.robinson206 - 24/10/2012 15:20 Very unlucky! Is 1498 going to be written off or, as it's so new, will it be repaired? RE: Arriva North East - kuyoyo - 24/10/2012 22:14 MPD 1726/59 are now at Redcar (news from the arrivane Yahoo Group) (24/10/2012 15:20)tom.robinson206 Wrote: Very unlucky! Is 1498 going to be written off or, as it's so new, will it be repaired? Sounds like it will be repaired. All depends on the extend of the damage (ie has the Chassis twisted?) RE: Arriva North East - Tango - 25/10/2012 18:27 Hi folks, saw the last remaining prisma with arriva ne 3007 on the 81 today and it got me thinking has any interest been expressed in preserving her when her number is up with arriva by any individual/ organisation, it would be a crying shame if this last example were to disappear from teessides roads forever, also how practical would preservation be? I assume parts would be readily a available from 3007s 20 odd scrapped sisters at ....... Carlton??? If I remember correctly, I'm sure someone here could confirm or deny that. Just a thought I had today and would be interested to hear your views on this subject.
