RE: Arriva North West - Southport Depot - Vbg111v - 12/12/2012 18:12 3312 is out on 42/44's. A rare sighting & really showing its age. RE: Arriva North West - Southport Depot - skemnational - 18/12/2012 22:51 A very mixed bag today 3309 on 49s lates too 33?? On 42/44 410? On 43/46 46 lates 2727 on 44 lates 2624 on 43 lates At least 3 pulsars on 375 today too starting to think b7 deckers are struggling on 375 4101 broke down again today like it did for me on a Wigan late on Saturday RE: Arriva North West - Southport Depot - Neoplan N4009 - 19/12/2012 00:19 (11/12/2012 22:39)3111 Wrote: I had Pulsar 2 MX10 CZJ (3045) from Wigan to Skelmersdale this evening on my 385 journey. This bus was extremely sluggish - not good for the steep hills! (The driver was whom who took CX55 EAW [4107] to the Wirral Bus and Tram Show 2012.) I noticed three/four Pulsar 2s on the 375/385 today - where are the NEEDED double-deckers? Ah I know the guy, Gordon. Nice fella , I remember him mentioning to me that 304? Was pretty sluggish so that must be the Pulsar, it's not too bad on flat but not one for hills! It's attracting a few complaints. RE: Arriva North West - Southport Depot - skemnational - 20/12/2012 09:52 if theres ever a route that needs changing its the 375 this should be every 20 mins through day 3 buses an hour RE: Arriva North West - Southport Depot - skemnational - 20/12/2012 16:27 4000 4001 4002 will transfer from January RE: Arriva North West - Southport Depot - Vbg111v - 20/12/2012 19:43 It's all very well transferring buses, buying buses & branding buses. If however they are allocated incorrectly it all proves pointless. The 375/85 has been running Pulsars packed to the rafters with standees suffering a horrendous long journey in poor conditions. Meanwhile the 43/6 or other single deck routes run a half empty double decker. It makes Arriva look fools. Branded stock running the wrong routes confuses people & 95% of the time is unavoidable. The ageing non DDA compliant 'School' deckers, a regular sight on local routes, leaving pushchair & wheelchair customers seething. I've written a letter to the company & will publish their response when it is received.
