I imagine that now they've got it back up, the next step will be updating ready for July changes.

Has the site, been out of action over three months? Even if its not three months that they haven't had a site, its a bit poor really, it has to be said, and slack of them. Sort yourselves out MaytreeWaveLOL

To give them some praise (I suppose someone has to Smile), at least they have a website (again). JPT abandoned theirs last year and concentrated on their Facebook page.

Ha Ha yesLOL I notice JPT do kind of like facebookLOL

One of the Metroshuttle Enviro200s was out on route learning duties today - I saw it on St Helens Road in Leigh with a full load of drivers (including some standing), obviously showing drivers the revised 597.

Hopefully, we'll get the timetable information this week when TfGM upload the 29 July timetables, as it still hasn't appeared on Traveline.

Meanwhile, Maytree have listed their scheduled changes for 29 July and 2 September on its website (along with removing some of its pages such as services and fares).

The 9 is confirmed on their website as being withdrawn from 2 September, although no reference to the extended 50 from Stagecoach. The other change for September is the 553's 7.20am weekday journey from Bolton being re-timed to run at 7.10am 'in an attempt to avoid traffic congestion in Boothstown'.

Hopefully Merseytravel will put the 597 timetable up on their site given that it now includes some journeys to/from Newton.

RE: Maytree Travel - Bolton - SF07 - 23/07/2012 19:38

New 597 timetable now available from TfGM website. Regarding the journeys to/from Newton-le-Willows, buses run from Newton at 7.30am and 8am not calling at Laneside, while buses run to Newton at 3.45pm from Leigh Sports Village and 4.10pm from Leigh Infirmary (arriving at 4.15pm and 4.53pm)

You can definitely tell the peak journeys to Newton are targeting the college campus.

i for one think maytree are doing a good job with that route idea, any other time i would be the first to sl*g them of but in this case am going to say i hope it lasts
