197031 and 197033 were seen yesterday on test at Crewe. These are two of the units which will be fitted with ERMTS to work on the Cambrian Line.

197119 is now in service and currently on Manchester to South Wales services.

TfW still using Sprinters on Manchester to South Wales services. On Monday the 12:54 Swansea to Manchester was operated by 2 x 153s and terminated at Wilmslow, where it returned to Cardiff from (not reaching Stockport or Manchester).
