I am looking at my next visit to Liverpool being on a Bank Holiday in the hope of sampling some routes run by Arriva or Stagecoach on Mon-Sat but independents on Sundays & Bank Holidays. Do HTL run any such routes?

HTL run the 56 (Liverpool ONE - Netherton) M-Sat Evenings and all day Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday. Although the 30/30A has no direct daytime counterpart, that runs all day Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday too. The 17B (St Helens - Widnes) is ran much the same way, not entirely sure on any others.

In the St Helens area, the 36 & 156 are barring the odd route variants are Sunday equivalents of daytime Arriva routes.

They also have the 192 which is essentially an extended and industrialised version of the Stagecoach 217/227

Thank you for your updates on HTL Sunday operations. I find that Sunday variations give Bank Holiday travels a pleasant novel touch!

As you can tell, I haven't gone to Liverpool today. I was in London on Saturday and catching up at home today. I plan to go to Liverpool on August Bank Holiday instead!

No it is still in white, tonight it was on the 159/56.
