RE: Halton Transport - GWD0595 - 05/09/2013 18:11 Kept seeing #60 on the 17A today. Is this going to be the bus that runs on this service from now on? It's strange that I haven't seen a Solo on the 17, just the 17A? RE: Halton Transport - Valandil - 05/09/2013 21:08 (05/09/2013 18:11)GWD0595 Wrote: Kept seeing #60 on the 17A today. Is this going to be the bus that runs on this service from now on? It's strange that I haven't seen a Solo on the 17, just the 17A? That bus won't be permanently on the 17a. (For one thing, during the day they switch over between 17 and 17a at St Helens). I am confident that they will still interwork with other services, but I don't know which. (The 2 looks like a possibility, but the timings are a bit tight!) It used to be that a 17 into St Helens would depart as a 17A and vice versa. They did used to interwork with both the 2 and short 14A (but now that is the 62A it will just be the 2) RE: Halton Transport - Raawwwrrr! - 06/09/2013 17:18 #58 was on the 2/17/17A today with #59 on the 27. Identifiable by their original seating, Halton Standard 1998 - 2007 RE: Halton Transport - buses7675 - 06/09/2013 18:53 Not sure which one is is, (didn't think to check!) but a Solo was on the 17A this morning too, noted near Lea Green at around 08.20. RE: Halton Transport - motormayhem - 06/09/2013 19:26 It seems the 17A as been down graded to solos as they seem to be on there everyday lately. Tbat would be the same bus I seen at 8:10 leaving St Helens. I didn't manage to id the vehicle either but I know 60 was on there yesterday. RE: Halton Transport - Quackdave - 07/09/2013 15:13 Dart 51 is back in use, it was relicensed at some point during the past week, and was on the 14 today. Solos out today included 56 on the 27, 58 on the 26, 59 on the 2 (West Bank), and 60 on the 26A. RE: Halton Transport - GWD0595 - 08/09/2013 17:51 Does anyone know when the best time of day is to catch one of the MCV's, ELC's or Enviro's on either the 17 or 17A? Its hard to say with solos getting used a lot now, but I would say any time past about 16:00 I quite often see a ELC or MCV evo on there. Haven't seen a Enviro on there for a while. |
