B10BLE 21156 has returned to South Shields from Walkergate.
Meanwhile, back on Teesside, Olympian 16840 made a short appearance on the 38 from half 11 til schooltime. 16834 was on the 52/58 until the same time. 37-branded 22061 spent the day on the 59/61 and 24113 was on the 13. For the first day this week, the entire 36 allocation was Enviro300s.

Nice to see 21150 back on the road on the 13... meanwhile some more of its sisters have been sold - 21101, 21137/42/43/46 to Ensign, 21138 to South Wales, 21148 to Grievesons for scrap... along with 16704/5/7/30 to Hardwicks for scrap

Not North East as such, but Hull services are being removed from the Cleveland Transit licence at the start of April, transferring to Lincolnshire Road Car.

22493 is now parked in the dead row in Stockton yard minus its engine - now looking likely to be the first MAN withdrawn for engine failure (only other MAN so far withdrawn was Stockton's 22662 after its engine fire in 2007).

22662 was an electrical fire, not engine fire. Mostly contained to the front end from the picture I saw.

For the first time in a while, all 3 of Stockton's B10BLEs were out today - 21104/41 on the 35 and 21150 on the 11.

36-branded MAN 24106 is out on 13s this afternoon after replacing 16838 for schools (24106 was used for the Macmillan Staff Bus prior to operating the 13). 16838 went back onto the 13 on the working in-front of the one it had been on to replace 22660. 16839 was also on the 13.
