There needs to be changes to the 35/36 routes in Rhyl. As passengers we understand that there cant be bigger buses operated on the route. However today it was unsafe how many people were standing and how many school kids use the services.

Maybe duplicating buses or introduce a 20 minute frequency at school times or a 36S Prestatyn to Rhyl

Also the new buses seem to be drifting away from the 35s and going on the town services

Not sure where it was off to but yesterday around dinnertime I spotted E227WBG (I think it was) heading up Stanley Road past Bootle Strand away from Liverpool, guessing going for Winter Storage somewhere but I thought all the Open Toppers went to St Helens for winter storage, I was told by a friend of mine later on that their being stored at Southport Depot but if they are being stored at Southport why would one be going past Bootle Strand on the way to Southport as there are quicker routes from Rhyl to Southport surely

It was going to Southport for storage, as for going there well if the bus goes through the tunnel on the way then going through Bootle would be pretty normal as would take the Formby bypass to go Towards Southport.

What is a quicker route from Rhyl to Southport? If I was driving from Rhyl to Southport that is the route that I would take. It may have been travelling along Stanley Road as it was about to call in at Bootle depot for some reason.

Technically you could go to Southport via M56, Runcorn Bridge, M57, A59. etc. Whether that would be quicker is debatable but from Rhyl that is another option.

A55 M53 Wallasey tunnel through Bootle is the quickest way,no need to debate it
