Are you sure? Arriva North West don't have a 4046 and T306 FGN belongs to Arriva North East - unless they've transferred it and renumbered it...

Sorry, there's a distinct possibility that I have confused myself! Could it be 4064 (T304FGN)?

It could be, yeah, as that is/was a Bootle bus - albeit very sluggish, but smooth! Enjoy... ;-)

Well that didn't take long 4064 has just departed southport on a 375 which is also a late board

Also there was another on way up from bootle before so If you want to see a palintine tommorow might be the last day

Newly refurbished, branded deckers yet they still revert to operating the route as they did upon first acquiring it! Still, better for passengers than a Palatine and I seem to recall 4064 being one of the nicer ones at Skem too.

Was 4064 a Southport allocation previously?

Very briefly. It was at Southport for a few days following the demise of Skem before heading to Bootle as a swap with 4061.

Southport's previous long-term fleet of DLAs was comprised of 4057, 4060, 4061, 4063, 4065, 4074, 4082, 4090 and 4094.
