there will be a mercedes demo (mini bus ) here next week for two weeks model unknown will be used on the 26 rte i beleave

Are the Merseyside - Riverside College school buses still running (44/45/46)?
I may need to use one on Wednesday.
Certain people in the college have finished before others, so I'm not too sure if the term has offficially finished

Possibly mate, not 100% though. There are a few taster days for Y11s moving up to the colleges next year so I think they may put them on for the benefit of those students. I have seen quite a few buses running dead past Victoria Park when I've been in there the past few days as well so I'd assume some or all of the ones I have seen have been on their way up to the college.

Thats exactly what I need it for :P (Im dropping out of sixth form as A-Levels just aren't my cup of tea!)
Hoping to chase down #20 on the 44 before it goes, one to learn the route for when I need it next year, and two because its one of the elderly buses in the fleet and probably off soon, Plus a photo at Westbank on the 26 would do me nicely!
I've decided to email halton about it, but i'll probably see it tomorrow anyway know due to plans changing

Haha, fair enough then! :P
I don't think it's going anytime soon myself, there's still W reg Darts to be rid of, due to it's size I reckon even if the full size X reg SPDs get withdrawn over the next few years, that will stay on the 26, providing it's not replaced by a new bus.

Sadly the 44 wasn't running today, so I can only assume the Riverside College services (41/43/44/45/46/61C and BUS1) have ended till September
