Not bad. New bus for a new service. Presumably, this also ended up on the 519 too, as I'm guessing the two services interwork at Bolton bus station.
You would think they interworked but not tonight they didn't although thats how it was with Arriva

Another posotive note, I have caught that bus many many times, over the years, the 22.10 510 both with Arriva and First Manchester. That is the first time, it arrived at my destination 6 mins early.
I take my hat off to maytree, its not been easy for the company, as they have had some very well publicised incidents of drivers and vehicles threatened and attacked, and at one point the MD talked as a last result of pulling routes, but they kept going.
I also liked the strategy of sending out the drivers, with First manchester 510 services to learn the route

Impressed at that strategy, what a nice touch to the learning of the route. I hope Maytree fare well on the two routes in future.

Well done to Maytree yet again this evening MX60 BWP Failed at 10.02pm on Bolton Moor Lane, 10 mins later they had got a replacement bus for the 510 from there Farnworth base, meaning the service was only a few mins late, so my cousin told me.

Yes, I know I was a little cynical to say the least, but I am seriously impressed, by this companies slick operation on the 510s and the new 538 they do.

Saw MX12 DYV on the 95 today, while 40331 (Metroshuttle) has gone walkies again, as it was on the 495 today
