Not as significantly as you might imagine. Supertravel ceased trading and hence lost the contract and Cumfybus only had a year-long emergency tender.

Heard from a driver last night that Ace travel are coming off route 168 bootle-aigburth and route 129 liscard- frankby cemetery this is to free up buses and drivers for newly aquired routes 210 250 & 130 which start on 17 jan.

The remains of dart 721 V561JBH were removed from Ace Travels depot yesterday and taken to a local scrapyard for final breaking only the bodyshell remained of this bus as it was stripped by Ace for spares after suffering an engine fire.
RIP 721.

It's likely that they've got the 130, too, but they're separate contracts, so we'll have to wait until the timetable for the service is updated to see who'll be operating that service... As I've already said elsewhere on this forum, I'm hoping that this will be the end of the funny business on these services.

It all depends if ACE bid for the contract afterwards, as I am sure, and I would imagine someone can confirm this, that ACE will only have the contract for a year on a emergency basis?

Volvo B7TL PJ53 NKD is now back at ace travel after being away for conversion to an open topper for liverpool sightseeing tours its residing in the depot at the mo but a driver told me it looks very smart have to keep an eye open for when it comes out.

Long Enviro "Fab 4" branded one can't remember the fleet number is on the Fab 4 Bus Tour today, quite rare to see it they're as much as it is branded for it

This friday Ace are taking delivery of 2 new Enviro 200s one of these will be replacing dart 728 SN51SXV which is leaving Ace and the other i believe will replace 714 EK51XXA. No news on registrations or fleet numbers for the newbies yet but will post as soon as i get them.
