Emirates - T42 PVM - 22/06/2026 08:52 Simple Flying are reporting that Beijing will lose its A380 perm from next month, The service is going from one trip a day to Two and will be operated by the Boeing 777 https://simpleflying.com/emirates-axes-airbus-a380-this-major-route/ RE: Emirates - T42 PVM - 25/07/2026 08:11 Emirates are due to retire 23 of their Class A380's by the end of 2030, I understand the following examples are the ones earmarked as going: The following Emirates A380s are due to be taken out of service before the end of 2030: A6-EDK, A6-EDM, A6-EDN, A6-EDQ, A6-EDR, A6-EDS, A6-EDT, A6-EEA, A6-EEB, A6-EEC, A6-EED, A6-EEE, A6-EEF, A6-EEG, A6-EEH, A6-EEI, A6-EEJ, A6-EEK, A6-EEL, A6-EEM, A6-EEN, A6-EEO and A6-EER EDK will be the first to go, most likely this Year, If anyone is going to attempt to get any of these you need to book an A380 flight that does not offer Premium Economy Once these examples are stood down no more A380s are due off until at least 2035 where the rest will be slowly withdrawn with all examples gone for 2041. |
