Walrus Card - wirralbus - 29/06/2012 17:14 This is Merseytravel's smartcard similar to the TfL's Oyster Card. This card does not seem to be high up the merseytravel agenda after its high profile launch for the Labour Party Conference a couple of years back. I am sure some of the aspects of the Walrus card seem to be falling behind the timeline set out by Merseytravel. RE: Walrus Card - Raawwwrrr! - 01/07/2012 12:18 Merseytravel Staff such as inspectors and revenue collectors all now have Walrus cards to be scanned onto complient ticket machices RE: Walrus Card - wirralbus - 26/11/2013 22:21 Any idea's where this card is at now . Seems like while the London Oyster card goes from strength to strength , the Merseyside version has died a death at the moment . RE: Walrus Card - CX54 DKD - 26/11/2013 22:50 Full roll-out has been delayed until next year - http://www.liverpooldailypost.co.uk/news/liverpool-news/full-walrus-smartcard-roll-out-public-5398992 RE: Walrus Card - wirralbus - 16/12/2013 20:32 (26/11/2013 22:50)CX54 DKD Wrote: Full roll-out has been delayed until next year - http://www.liverpooldailypost.co.uk/news/liverpool-news/full-walrus-smartcard-roll-out-public-5398992 Smartcards do seem to be the in thing at the moment , im surprised that Merseytravel seem to be stalling on there introduction. |
