The Yellow Duckmarine - J654UHN - 01/04/2013 20:49

Duck number 4 NSL 740(Nelson) sank on Saturday in Salthouse Dock while returning to the slipway after a tour. All passengers and Crew evacuated to a nearby Pontoon and theduck was takin under tow where she proceeded to Sink.
Raised at 03:00 this Morning. MCA and MAIB are investigating the Cause and Upto now they have ruled out vandalisim and Allision(collision)

The Mail have also corrected their article to read 'Easter Saturday' as opposed to 'Easter Sunday' since I read it and posted the link earlier on, lovely.

Don't think it will land them in hot water if it is just a simpe accident and something failed. If it's a maintenance issue then they would be in trouble, time will tell. Incidentally, there is something in the Liverpool Echo regarding the company today, just viewed it on-line.

The thing is they have a good track record when it comes to saftey of there veichles as you hardly ever see them broken down and first time ive heard of ewt serious like this happening.
I congratulate the staff for getting all its passengers off saftley and calmly.

Radio Merseyside have just announced that one of the ducks has sunk in the Albert Dock, no one reported injured
