( I think it was Lms anyway) You're right, they had BOTH! The two of them had Alexander RH bodywork, with 0249 being on the F-reg. 0219 also had the 'Seacat' advert along its sides. If this is the operator with the green/white livery, they also used to run a 60 (Bootle-Aigburth Vale), once a day, in one direction only on weekdays only, leaving Bootle sometime around 7.15am. Guess they tried to pick up some school fares or it was a positioning move for a 103. In fact, I think it actually changed to the 103 when it got to Aigburth. Travel is glamorous only in retrospect. |

LMS had an F JTY Olympian branded for the 761 Blackpool service. It was F309JTY, they also had F306JTY. http://www.flickr.com/photos/58375380@N0...2606260943 Photo: Mark Youdan. The Trident was the first low floor decker in normal service. The first low floor decker delivered to a local operator was Aintree Coachline's Trident / East Lancs W5ACL: http://www.flickr.com/photos/58375380@N0...2609702142 Photo: Mark Youdan. SD. |
