The Little Chef may soon be disappearing from the Road side.

The owners of Little Chef , RCapital a specialist turnround company has put the brand up for sale in April.

Most of the companies that have bid for the company are other Fast Food Chains like McDonalds , KFC and Costa Coffee to name some of them.

Little Chef as a brand has been in administration in 2007 and since then has had significant restructuring , reducing the amount of sites from 234 to just 83 and reducing the staff head-count from 4000 to 1100 , RCapital says that the company is now profitable .

The bidders though for the company are uninterested in the name though .

The locations of the remaining Little Chef's which are the ones that the company suggest are the more profitable ones are lucrative due to location and size of the car parks attached .

Little Chef has been in business since 1958 when they opened there first 11 seater restaurant in Reading .
