To confirm something too regarding Ace Travel from a few weeks back, the new 79C timetable confirms the one 79C a week they run, early Saturday mornings as a Halton Council Contract is being withdrawn without replacement.

Are the 471/472 being extended to cover or is this a CWAC/Merseytravel subsidy cutback?

No The drivers and the boss have been telling passengers that the service is being cut as Cheshire West and Chester are not paying over the border from October as the route runs around with the odd pass holder on and Between Arrowe Park and Heswall the 472 covers it

Another link between Heswall and Neston gone , no wonder you need a car in Neston these days just to get out after dark.

This probably would be a good route for Ace Travel as there based quite locally to it.
