I was out for almost 12 hours taking photos and i did find it very cold, In fact at times i found it more cold on the Bus!

Today had a high of 12c. Hardly tropical. Clearly 10805 is one to avoid. I bet the driver was cozy, though, otherwise it would have been swapped.

The rumour is
1 - no longer serves zoo and goes into town like a 2 or X2 from Dale Barracks

2 - serves the zoo and Bache

Personally I think this is just a rumour made up by drivers unless you see anything official I would totally ignore it

X8 branded Enviro300s 27776 & 27777 are currently at Gillmoss along with Solo 47710 all from Chester

Dont forget very limited buses are running today only routes operating are as followed:

Stagecoach In Chester - Nothing (Depot Closed)
Stagecoach Birkenhead : 1 (one bus a hour), 41A (one bus a hour) & 471/2 (one bus a hour)

I think Enviro 400MMC 10805 and 10806 now based at Chester Depot swapped for Enviro 300 27776 and 27777 at Gillmoss. 10805/6 use X8 everyday since last Friday. Maybe I'm wrong?

I just passed at Chester depot few mins ago, they have four Enviro 400MMC , three purples and one orange.

They almost certainly will be considering that the X8 branded Enviro300's are now stored at Gillmoss for the duration of the Wirral line closure. 10803 certainly is.
