Well being honest its not just the double deckers at Stagecoach that need there heating fixed though some of the Gold buses are practically as good as a fridge inside .

There are still 4 Cambridge P&R MMC'S at Leyland still awaiting delivery, purple 10804 and 3 orange, 10807/8/9.....are these still expected here or are they going straight to Cambridge?

Forgot to mention, orange 10810 was on the X2 at Chester today.

The 17:09 ex Liverpool X8 was a no-show this evening. Doesn't help when the Twitter feed has already signed off for today!

Given its the first day that the Wirral line has been out of service, I'm a bit surprised that Stagecoach don't seem to be too bothered?

Hi Barry and everyone too,
I,m pleased to see you this morning, I would like to say thanks for message about four MMC 10804/7/8 and 9 still at Leyland, which I'm look for it, I've done see all except not see 10799, hopefully they will coming down to Merseyside before heading down to Cambridge. Hope so!! Really good for bus enthusiasts to see Stagecoach MMC also Arriva rail replacement too. I'm really enjoyed to watch everywhere. I will be back again all day in Liverpool on Friday.

I was glad to be on there!
NB This was on the trips leaving Chester at 11:30 and 14:45 (as well as 08:30 and 17:45, I assume).

Not sure if the two enthusiasts I had a chat with at Chester Bus Station are on this forum, but to answer their question and for anyone else who's interested, there were (at least) two Tridents on the 51/53 today - something to savour as it probably won't happen for much longer.

I've just come back from Chester to Bebington on 10799, was on the 2. Good day today, seemed to be plenty of enthusiasts out in Liverpool especially, a few in Chester too....

27780 and 27778 are still at chester. 780 was on X8's.
