Im in agreement I think Andy Burnham will be good for Manchester. I am not sure what his private feeling is with the Labour Party and its present incarnation. For the sake of the country Labour has to be electable if not for 2020 definitely by 2025 otherwise the country will be in a one party state not good for democracy . |

Amber Rudd was on Andrew Marr this morning. This was the first interview I'd seen of her as Home Secretary. She laughed when the clip of her from the EU debate describing Boris Johnson as "The life and soul of the party but not the man you want to drive you home afterwards"!. |

It now seems that Democratic Presidential hopeful Hilary Clinton has been diagnosed with a bout of pneumonia and been urged to rest. Both the Republican and Democratic Presidential candidates are not spring chickens Clinton being 68 and Trump being 70. |

Seems like Samsung's troubles may be getting worse after the exploding batteries in the Samsung Note 7 , now they seem to be having some trouble with exploding washing machines in the United States. |
