Keolis is a separate business and it only owns 35% of the Govia Thameslink Railway (Great Northern, Thameslink, Southern & Gatwick Express). The other 65% being owned by Go-Ahead.

As a duo, the KeolisAmey partnership which will be taking over the Metrolink operations currently only run the DLR (Docklands Light Railway) and nothing else.

The "early 2017" target date has therefore been met. I just wonder how long it will be until Manchester Airport services are extended to Victoria.
