With the introduction of the green Scanias onto the Highwayman, there are going to be a few extra green Volvos scattered about until some of the older Highwaymans are eventually repainted which is why so many of those have appeared on the 27 recently such as 4914 (X914WGR), amongst other branded buses. I can only assume that some of the Crusader Renowns have been off for maintenence although a couple have also been seen on other routes this week. Gateshead are a bit up in the air at the moment ;-)

Deptford's Wright Streetlite demonstrator 9139 (ERZ2028) is now in service on Doxford Clipper 39.

Ah right. Thanks. I did think that Gateshead has been a bit mixed up in the past week. Does anybody know what's being used on the 64/64A, as I haven't found any pictures yet?

I've only seen SPDs when on my travels but I'm told it will be a mixture of SPDs and Wright Merits. Once debranded the Merits should be going into Northern livery.

It is a mixture over the last week it has been Merits, Renowns, SPDs and the green ex-loop solar has been on quite a few times also. No fixed set of buses really.

Thanks for sharing Tbone, its a good move but I'm surprised a vehicle up here isn't named after him since he revolutionised Go North East completely. If would have named him after on of the CityLink bendi's since he always wanted bendi's on the 58 and finally managed to.

Wright Gemini 3963 has been painted into the new Tyne Tees Express base colours of plum and gold X. It must be reserve perhaps?
